Graduating with a B.F.A in film from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Chris Durenberger has expanded past his degree to create art in the forms of animation, writing and illustration. He has always enjoyed telling short form narratives that experiment with several artistic mediums, and uses such projects to teach himself different art forms and techniques.
His thesis film ‘Chalk Talk’ was featured in five film festivals and won several awards, including SCAD’s Best Narrative Film and The Feel Good Film Festival’s Best Student Film.
His debut illustrated book BUBO had a successful Kickstarter Campaign which printed and sold 500 copies worldwide.
Chris is currently working on a 30 second animated painting and has another book currently in development. He is open to exploring opportunities at established or emerging production companies and is open to freelance work. More so, he would love to network with other creatives.
